Pickelbezug Bay.RJR14

Pickelhaube-cover, wartime manufacture in olive-green fine weave (impervious?) tissu (bit like early tentshelters), steel hooks, leather to spikecover etrc. 'Painted' to front 'R 14' for the bavarian R.J.R.14. Nice condition, no rips, wear, all hooks present ect., cocade left hand side has left 'marks' , medium to large size, no (other) markings. The Bay.RJR14 participated (shortly) in combat at Nancy-Epinal, rest of the war in the Vosges-Elsass (Ban de Sapt, Münster, Kaysersberger Tal etc). Note : even with outdoor daylight, difficult to have the real color, in reality darker shade of olive.
